
yesterday, the chefs of our company all got together and cooked for a collection of people out at ubc farm for outstanding in the field. a significant amount of planning goes into participating in these types of events, especially so when there are still three restaurants to operate. over the course of a few long days we chipped away at a substantial prep list full of tedious and repetitive tasks, stopping occasionally to hydrate and strategize. by all accounts the event was a tremendous success. it couldn’t have happened without careful and thorough planning, or the collective acceptance that we were all contributing to the greater good.
